Unaware of CHURCH MEMBERSHIP and "Congregational" church life?

Are you wanting answers to questions like:

"IS IT OF GOD OR THE DEVIL?"

"WHY MEMBERSHIP?"

"WHO CAN BE A MEMBER?"

"WHAT IS MEMBERSHIP?"

"WHAT DOES MEMBERSHIP MEAN FOR ME?"

"WHAT SHOULD MEMBERSHIP MEAN TO ME?"

First and foremost;

YES IT IS OF GOD (ACTS 6:2)

Yes, there are PRIVILEGES that accompany
MEMBERSHIP in the local church:

HOWEVER, Membership for BELIEVERS has more to do with:

COVENANT COMMITMENT and RESPONSIBILITIES THROUGH SELF SACRIFICE.

Membership takes the selfish emphasis of "What's in it for me?" and makes it more into the words of a servant who says, "What can I do for you?"

Church membership is about asking; "What can we do together?"

Wow! Smiles before and after a Church Meeting. Are you sure this is a Baptist Church?

Membership says "I want to stop "Church hopping" and put down "Family" roots with people who know me and love anyway, and will let me love and serve with them.

BELIEVING:

"This is where God wants me to be and wants use me according to the spiritual giftedness that the Holy Spirit blesses me with along the journey of church family life."

IN THIS WE SEE:

Membership is about enjoying "FAMILY" ties, accepting one's own call to live, to love, and care for each another as we would have them care for us.

Membership puts an end to "Me, Myself, and I" in favour of the unifying concept of the shared life of "You, Me, and Us"

'When being sought out by His mother and brothers, Jesus looked around at those who were with Him and said, "Who are my mother and brothers?" Then He looked at those seated in a circle around Him and said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! Whoever does my Father's will is my brother sister and mother"' (Mark 3:31-34).
